Another HSR up and running on fresh motor........

Trigger took these pics at GBM last weekend...
I didnt run the car though, still need to get a tune(running on stock chip ) and tires.....
Pulls really hard from 3000 to a lil past 6000...
Low end seems a bit boggy but i think this is due to the chip, and gears would definately help............

now with a t56 and 4.56 gears, its no issue! gears gears gears! if you are an auto, 3.73s with a 3200rpm yank converter

the car is a 5 spd right now, waiting for it to break then ill go T56, been looking for one!!
Gears are my next change, i was thinking 373 or 410,
how are the 456's on the highway with the t56??? I know people with 410 and a six spd, but not 456's..........

Sweet install. I may need to go this route. What heads you HSR guys running. Think it would do ok on ported L98 heads until I got aluminum??/

BTW- I'm curious on th 4.56's too. These T56's first gear (2.66) sucks with 3.42's. Later!

i chose 4.56 to be different. and i can tell you, loss of torque is non existant with the 4.56 and t56. i spin up to 3000rpm before i know it then the power and the gears both kick it and its a complete monster. 4.10's are for pansies! and i still get 25-26mpg in sixth gear at 70mph

What T56 do you have??? 1993 or 1994-up? Just curious which first gear you have with those 4.56s. Later! Either way, I bet its fast out of the hole if it hooks. What tires you running and does it hook???
