Will the super ram help me?
I have tf heads and a 218/224 529/533 cam 112 LSA and the LTR setup and went from 14.1 to 13.6 on the stock chip. I am now getting a brand new SR for 500 bucks right from accel will I see a loss of TQ at lower rpms? Whats gonna happen?

I believe that with those heads and cam, you will see a reduction in ET. You might lose a little TQ at VERY low rpm, but I think you'll more than make up for it. BTW, I have a 2200-2400 stall and can light up the drag radials at will on the street, I've left 150 ft. marks w/ the drag radials when I tried, I don't think TQ loss will be an issue.

yes, it will make a difference.
you should check into DIY PROM to set yourself up a chip that works right with it. the stock TPI chip starts reducing fuel at only 4000rpm (because of the rapidly dropping airflow ability of TPI), by 4800rpm it's already off nearly 20%. a superram with heads and cam and whatnot will easily flow up past 5500, so you won't be getting the enrichment up top you need.
you might see a torque loss at very low rpm like the other guy said, but with even a mild torque converter you flash almost immediately to 2000+ RPM. who cares what you lose below 2000?

Yes, you will notice a big diffrent in the upper RPM's! I went from TPiS LTR to a SR and the diff. was huge... Now its only need tuning and to be blown........
