What would work better
Looking for a intake upgrade. I am looking at either a SLP dual intake for 91-92's or a Ram-Air box cause im looking at a suncoast WS6 hood. Which would work better, anyone have an opinion on this. I saw a pic of the dual intake i think on Zyphers car. Looks good, wondering how much it helped was it noticeable. I haven't seen anyone with the ram-air box so im not expecting anyone with results from that... Thanx for the input.

I'll hazard a guess here that you'll get similar results with whichever one you choose. The 4th gen style 'ram air' hood is a farce as an actual ram air piece, very little air gets forced into the nostrils due to boundary layer effects. Still, it is cold air, and it is a short ather straight into the TB. The SLP dual CAI is also a fine piece with plenty of flow potential.
I guess if i had a bird with a ram air hood on it i'd let cost make the decision for me. Or the fact that you have to relocate stuff (the battery and/or the charcoal canister IIRC) to use the SLP. Yeah, so i'd probably just run the box to go with the hood and call it a day...
