Thanks fastvetteTPI84
I was thinking about260AH-14 cam from them but I will see what numbers that cam has, is it not a little to big (268*) for a street car?
What power band does it have? how much mpg do you get?

hello, is it a 305 or 350? i have an 86 iroc with a 305 tpi. all stock, except motor bored .030, and a comp cam with lift of .444 on both intake and exhaust. i like it pretty good. comp cam says its for a 305/350 tpi. when i received the cam, the box said 350 tpi, i quickly called the 800 number for comp cams. they said the cam is for both 305 and 350 tpi. its what i use, good vacuum and idle (thats what i wanted...nothing too crazy) best of luck, tom....if you want, i may be able to track down the comp cam part number.

I'm using a Summit cam in mine that idles nice and gets me around nicely.

204/214 dur @.050
.442/.446 lift
112 deg lobe sep

Makes excellent power for the street.

jd, it is a comp cam, computer compatible cam. the one i got is 1200-5200 rpm range. dur .050 is 212/212, lift is .444 on intake and exhaust, lsa is 112. they offer another cam with the following specs... 1500-5500 rpm range, dur .050 212/intake, 218/exh, lift is also .444 on intake and exhaust, lsa is 114. best of luck, tom.....you may want to call some cam companies to see what they suggest.

I used a cam by general kinetics(machine shop installed when they did short block.

216 @ .050 lift .454 lift with 1.5s 110 lsa. Idled like stock made great power from idle to 5500. This was a hydraulic non-roller.

I think the 268 would be good (I think it is a 219 @ .050).

Best advice call the cam company they do this for a living.
