the porting didnt take all that long. im useing a dremel with a cord thing its work really good. polishing the top of the plenum is taking the must i only work on it every so often and for a hour. my hand goes numb after any longer then that.

What bits are you using in the dremel tool to port with? I have access to air and a die grinder but its out in the garage and this time of year the garage is darn cold. I am assuming I will need the die grinder and a carbide bit to siamese the base, but if I can port the plenum with the Dremel at least I can get something done in the off season.

I used a dremmel for my plenum porting. The bit that I used was about 5 cut off wheel discs stacked on top of each other. That took the aluminum right off, then I used sanding rolls to smooth it out. Instead of changing the sanding rolls and going to higher grit numbers, I just wore down the sanding roll. Basically, the roll changed it's grit, instead of me changing the roll.

All I can see is that you took the egr walls out, but that plenum does look smooth. Good work. I can't wait to take mine apart again, sure beats organic chemistry
