Does your timing jump around at idle like mine?

with the est wire connected? I'm chasing a idle/ part throttle problem and I just want to know if it's normal.
THANKS!

Yes, and with the wire disconnected, it should be steady (at least mine was when I was timing the car last night).

well, with the wire disconnected, it's rock steady. But with it connected, it jumps all over the place even at part throttle. Is this normal?

Last night when the wire was connected it would bounce around between 8* to 10* of variance or so... Disconnected it was steady.

HTH...
