Throttle body bypass

Where I live it gets about 20* in the winter and I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to do the throttle body coolant bypass. And if any of you guys have done it are the gains noticable? I just dont wanna hurt my baby. Thanks in advance

personally I wouldnt do that because the TB coolant is to help warm the engine up. oterhwise it takes forever to warm up because of the cold air going into the engine.

I'd go ahead and leave it hooked up for now. The convenience of a quick warm-up far outweighs the (once-again) "miniscule" improvement that "mod" is worth (in my opinion).

Bypass it when it gets warmer.

This is all assuming you drive the vehicle every day.

I agree, leave it hooked up. The bypass is for the summer weather.
