Only if it was a B4C police package its in RS trim so it has the stock hood and no wing.

to check for the b4c, look under the center console pad for the RPO list... if u cant gain access to inside, the B4C has dual piston calipers in the front... thats what will be most distinguishable out of all the exterior accessories

Someone told me the 305's had a castng on the driver's side that says "305" on it.

You cannot make a 350 out of a 305, so dont let him tell you that.

on the driver's side rear of the block just under the head it will say GM 5.0L or 5.7L. but i don't know of any "dealerships" taking the 305 out and putting 350 in their place.

Check the emssions sticker under the hood at the front. That should at least tell you what the car was supposed to have in it...I'm betting that the "dealer" doesn't know anything about the car except that he hopes you buy it

then it should also be a TPI motor. a B4C option for police.

Well it wouldn't be a B4C anyway since it says in the original post that it was a dealership installed 350; not a factory installed 350. Dealerships used to do engine swaps all the time. It isn't common at all anymore though because of EPA and new emissions laws.

It's not going to have a 5.7 hood sticker if it is a dealership installed engine. If it was a 5.0 replaced with a 5.7 by the dealer it would still say 5.0 under the hood.

Very interesting...the sticker shows a base timing of 6*, which is a 350 TPI setting, not TBI. 305 TBI base timing is 0*, correct?

so some idiot put a new sticker on the cowl. What's the 8th digit of the VIN?

Since you're probably not dealing with a stock motor, the only way to be sure is to pull a head, or get the casting number off the block.

It's built for Canada too. They could probably get away with it.
