This brings up a question i have. Will the injector clips work with the Ford injectors? I tried it on a few of them with my miniram fuel rail and it just seems out of place. Can i get away without using the injector clips? When i have them in without them, the injectors seem to move just as much as the ones with the clips on. Any info that could help? Thanks, and sorry for hijacking this thread, so...yeah, the Ford SVOs will work!

Your stock injector clips will work just fine. I use Furd injectors in all my TPI's, and they line up perfect every single time. Take into consideration though that you might run a little rich without some prom tuning, but nothing to really worry about.

The injector clips aren't really needed. I had to do a double take at my injectors after I removed the clips because I thought something else was holding them in place. They stay in the there really well on their own.

the injector clips will work as long as you hook them up in the slot that goes all the way around the injector and not the one that goes half way and stops. Be prepared to run as rich as all rich can be unless you can change the injector constant in your prom.

I run 24 lb Ford SVO's in my setup. I have my fuel pressure set down to 40 lbs. and my PROM injector constant set at 26 and I'm still running too rich! It's alot closer, but I'll just have to lean it out in the PROM volumetric efficiency tables.

Just remember that all injectors are not created equal. The Ford 24# injectors actually flow more than the GM 24# injectors (stock on LT1's) because of differences in the way the two companies rate their injectors.

Also just another note on injectors. You don't want to get bigger injectors unless you are running a setup that is maxing out your current injectors. Remember that smaller injectors at a higher fuel pressure are better (due to better fuel atomization) than bigger injectors at a lower pressure.

The clips are not necesary. I didn't even realize you could use them with Ford injectors. The injectors are wedged in between the manifold and the fuel rail which is then bolted down. That alone will keep them in place.
