Fuel injectors

For basically a stock 350 engine, I plan to replace the injectors with 23 #/hr Accel. Good choice? Any prom tuning necessary for this switch? I'm trying to avoid the prom burning issues for now.

Your degradation of the acclompishments of the mentally challenged clearly prove that you have self esteem problems. Since you seem to be relatively new on the boards i would remove the quote in your signature before you come across as a real ***.

I'm not going to apologize to you or anyone else if you/they are so easily offended. It could be "argued" that anyone driving a sports car, particularly firebirds and camaros, have self esteem problems. But that's not "clear proof" of anything. Neither is my quote. I don't feel the quote degrades anyone, except possibly those who argue ridiculously, and I won't attempt comments to degrade you. If the moderators feel it is uncalled for, let them censor it. I'm sure they have seen it enough. I would be a real *** only if I continue this conversation further.

On a viable topic: 23#/hour injectors will work fine...

they'll work fine. you'll probably run a little rich though. I had 24's for a few months before burning my prom and it ran fine exept for the running a little rich issue.

Of course no man can tell another man what to do and I would hope that the only censoring going on this board would be self initiated.

Although we might not 'feel' that something we say may injure someone, the possibility exists that it will. I, for instance, have a niece who is mentally challenged whom I care for very much. Your comment degrades her and my relationship with her. I am greatly disappointed to read your sig comments and would appreciate it much if you would refrain from using it. Doing so would in my opinion be "clear proof" of your good nature and willingness to share this web space in the spirit of cameraderie.

Now on to your injectors, I've bumped into a few guys running stock and near stock TPI 350s and 24 lb'ers without prom work required. Moreover, if you watch eBay and the classifieds you will see quite a few 24 lb'ers being offloaded by LT1 guys and very cheap I might add. AFAIK they will work in your 350 without issue and will accomodate the engine to over 350 crank HP.

Here is an example from eBay,

regards,
RP.

I also assumed that the offensive nature of the comment would warrant the removal of it by the person who originally posted it. In the past mark Shields simply made a comment about someones name and when people got offended he apologized for it. I just thought that is how considerate people who care for others behaved. But i guess I am mistaken. I came across a little harsh at first but that is becaue I am a special olympics coach and know how hard those kids work for those events and seeing them degraded just strikes a nerve with me.

You can change your sig to "like dealing with Iraq- takes too long and eveyone stops you from kicking the crap out of them"

Back to the real issue I looked on e-bay but I'm not getting the warm fuzzy that the inj are real LT1's. What is the PN for LT1 injectors?

Give the guy a break. He didn't coin the phrase in question. I've seen that phrase in many places on the internet, many of which included an appropriate photo. I can see how it would bother some people but it's nothing to have a fit over. He obviously wasn't a jerk about it because he took it down immediately.
