you already have the l98 cam so going to a lt1 cam wont make much of a difference..
itll pull a litter harder on top but i dont think the peak will change very much

You know you have to modify the stock LT1 cam to fit into your engine. The locating dowell on the end is longer on an LT1 to drive the Optispark.

the lt1 wont be worth the effort of changing the cam, check out the lt4 (not hot) it is cheap and will get u good gains in the LB9, i have one that isnt in yet...but u do have to modify the little thingy yeah (little thingy is the technical term)

with a few more mods you could use the lt4 hot cam...since u have a stick itll be easier for daily driving

check out ebay, i got my lt4 for 60 bucks new...oh and to answer ur question, the rpm power range will push up a little due to the relatively wide lobe seperation of i think 115 and u may lose a little torque but the hp gains will be worth it...with 100% stock maybe 20hp?
