I will send you some pics that I just took last week, before doing my intake gasket replacement, so that I would have reference photos if I ran into trouble putting things back together. This is on an 87 TPI 305. Hope that helps.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I took pictures of mine, but for some reason really missed the alternator set up portion of the whole thing. I think that since I was ditching the AIR pump, that for some reason I didn't think I'd need to worry about the alternator being difficult. With all of the brackets sitting on the floor, I realized I was wrong. LOL!
