A) Are you getting injector pulse now?
B) When you say that you put gas down the intake and it runs....does it run normally thereafter?
I'm not the best at diagnosing problems - but I've had my car not start before and might be able to help. The 2 questions above will help those more experienced than I help you out.

well - seems the wise guys here aren't chiming in like they should. oh well.
It sounds like you've done ALOT of work....and I'm not meaning to offend if I'm asking stupid questions.
Have you checked to see what your fuel pressure is at? Anything below 40 and the car will have trouble running.
When you say there are no pulses - are you meaning that you've checked to see if any gas comes out the injectors, or that they're getting electric current?
To me it sounds like either an electrical problem between the computer and injectors, or a fuel delivery problem. Sorry I'm not much more help. But here's a free bump to the top of the board anyway.

exact same f#$%ing problem
I was going to start a new thread because I'm having the exact same f#$%ing problem after I restored my wiring harness but might as well post in here.
I went through the whole distributor with my multimeter and it all checked out. Good module, good wiring.
Brand new Accell coil, still nothing.
Fuel pressure is a strong 47 PSI at the rails with the ignition on.
I'm getting spark, but nothing's happening with the injectors.
I checked the injector pins
[C15 D14 D15 D16 injectors (1,3,5,7) injectors (2,4,6,8)] at the ECM for voltage and they all read a strong 12 volts with the ignition on.
I checked for an open circuit for a short at the injector harness, but it's ok.
I'm at my wits end with this thing. What are the injectors supposed to be recieving at the harness in terms of pulses that I can check with my multimeter? And if they aren't recieving anything how can I fix it???

Make sure the ECM is getting ignition power.
Can you read codes from the ECM? If you can, then you are good with the ECM.
ECM has 2 power inputs, one from the battery and one from ignition.
When I did my TPI swap, I forgot to hook up the ECM ign power and pulled my hair out for 2 days trying to figure it out. It would run on starter fluid for a sec, but then die. Got the ECM ign power connected and it ran.

update
Well I finally got mine to start up but that didn't really help my situation. I reconnected the wire to the oil pressure sender. It fires up now but man it runs like a$$crack. Sputs and pops and shoots smoke. It was running fine before I started messing with my wiring harness. Oh well....

The injector driver(s) in the ECM could be fried.
Only way to diagnose this is to get yourself a set of Noid Lights. There are several cheap sets out there, in other words, don't splurge on the OTC noids. Astro makes a good set and are rather cheap.
If when the noid light is attached to the harness side you don't see light's when your helpful buddy cranks while you watch, you have a bad ECM. Just remember to check each injector harness before you buy a new ECM. Otherwise you may find that it is your fuel injectors that are bad.
