Any one else running lean after HSR install?

Of all the StealthRam subjects on this forum, I havent seen this come up yet so maybe Im the only one. Ever since I installed the HSR on my Formula, my car has been running very lean. Regretfully, I didnt buy the rails with the adjustable regulator because of lack of cash, shoulda saved a little extra. Anyway, Im getting very low voltage from the O2, its jumping in the neighborhood of 0.1 to 0.5 V, and the sensor itself is a very light grey color. The car generally runs like sh*t. A custom EPROM is on the way, Im just curious if anyone else has had this problem.

Yep, ran lean at idle and part throttle, and of course up top at WOT.

I just completed my swap this past Friday, and mine runs pretty good. I did get the afpr, but, it's almost freakin impossible to get too. Plus my guage won't fit, the fitting is too big. But, so far it doesn't seem to run too bad, in fact it's killer up top.

esams, did your custom programming cure your lean problem?

mine did run a little lean after the install, but, a few changes to the prom and it runs like a raped ape now. sounds like you need to take the rail the fuel pressure reg is on off and switch witch way you have the regulator on. put the screw end facing the fender well. hope that helps

My programming is not done yet. Still waiting to assemble the whole wideband deal and borrow a programmer.

I dont have an adjustable regulator, so mine has no adjustment screw. I cant up my fuel pressure, and I think thats the main reason Im running lean.

I just put a MiniRam on my 89 Formula 350 with a Paxton S/charger. I have a very lean condition now. I have the adjustable fuel reg. but can't get it staight. It's so bad it pops back theu the S/C when I try to pull off. Waiting on a chip from TPI. Right now I've got a mess. They say the MAF can't handle the airflow
