formula font

does anyone know the name of the font they used for the FORMULA on our thirdgens?


sorry i know this has nothing to do with tech, but this forum gets alot of traffic. thanks

Huh?

It is called a bumper cap. In 91 they switched to a "banshee" style.

Is that what you are looking for? We need some background on this question.

im looking for the name of the FONT that pontiac used to write the FORMULA on our cars with. you know like arial, courier new....

Asking this on a board that doesn't focus on TPI tech may be a good start to getting your question answered.

My guess is that like almost every other automotive related logo, it's probably uniquely developed independantly of any commercially available font.

Yup. I had a nasty time trying to find a font that matched the factory RPO labels. Finally did. Got an example of the "FORMULA" script in case I have one?
