305 Knock Sensor in 355

When I swapped the motor, I just plugged in everything from the old block into the new one, So I am still running all 305 stuff except for the chip. My question is, what effect could running a 305 knock sensor have on my 355?

it could cause it to ping like a bastard because the 305 sensor is designed to be sensitive to a different frequency. A new one is only like $20.

350 is a 350. The year doesn't matter. Just make sure you get the right one for your ECM. The speed density cars used a different knock sensor than the MAF cars.

on the passenger side. on the older block just remove the drain plug for the block located right before the starter and after the engine mount. you can't miss the plug when looking from underneath. good luck!!
