Those are the Multecs that were used on the later ('89-'92) TPI engines and even early LT1 motors.
They are not considered good. Just do a little reading.

would it be a good idea to change 'em on my car?? its a 91 formula 350 with the same type of injectors. but i've read a lot of threads now about how unreliable they are. car seems to run fine but,,,dunno how long i have before the injectors go bad.

Check the resistance on them to see if they are still in good shape. If so then I wouldn't pull the plenum and runners just to replace them.

i have those injectors also, maybe time for a change then, i might have to get the trusty ohm meter out.

GM multec injectors = trash. end of subject.
the windings/insulation are made of material that gets eaten by the materials in gasoline. simply a matter of time before they fail. worse design ever. when they do start to fail they will look like ignition, O2, TPS anything else but injectors. you'll spend alot trying to figure it out. replace them they are sh*t.

so would it be better to retain the stock setting of 22# with new injectors or get ones with higher rating? my motor is mostly stock although i'm plannin to get the base ported or siamesed and buy some slp runners next week. i'll still have the stock chip in there. i hear Accels are the way to go, but am not sure about the lb rating.

If you don't plan on doing any major mods then you're best to stick with the stock size
