89 350 TPI

I have replaced my fuel pump and filter after thinking it wasnt getting enough fuel. I can raise the revs if just very very slightly increasing throttle barely any more and it starts to die and cuts out but sometimes if I let off it keeps running. I really need everyones help to get this fixed.

Need to check the fuel pressure. Let us know what it is with engine off/key on until pump shuts off. Let us know what it is cranked then what it does when you press the pedal.

 

Did this problem just start "out of the blue"? Or did you work on some part of the car and then it started?

i had the exact same problems a few years ago. it would run fine if i didnt give it no gas but then if i gave it gas it would die. it turned out to be my ecu got a new one then it ran fine.

 

I found It!! It was a bad MAF sensor, borrowed a friends and runs like a champ. Thanks for everyone's help
