Intake manifold recommendations?
Okay, I'm trying to decide what intake manifold I'm gonna end up getting. The car will be a 305 TPI with a 5-speed and the following mods (I won't list suspension and the like mods, of course):
Some free mods, ported plenum, etc.
SLP Dual Inlet/Custom CAI
Hooker 2055 Headers
High-flow cat
Hooker Cat-back
3.43's or higher
World's S/R Torquer heads
Chevrolet ZZ4 cam
There's a good chance I may eventually stick a centrifugal blower on there as well. I know more and more people are going with the LT1 intake, but that apparently causes a loss in low-end torque, which doesn't match the ZZ4 cam. Anyone got a manifold to recommend? I'm hoping for mid-high 13's (with slightly stickier tires, short-throw shifter, Spohn torque arm, major suspension work, and so on) naturally aspirated. Price isn't much of an issue.
Thanks in advance.

AS&M large tube runners and an Accel/Edelbrock/TPIS base would be a sweet combo for the street. Power to 5200 RPM or more and a good match for 3.08 to 3.42 gears. If you want to run 3.73s or more and have the right valvetrain to turn 6000 RPM or more then look at the LT1/Miniram. Both will work with your ZZ4 cam and/or a centrifigual blower. You'll have to port out or replace the Torquers if you really want to make some power.

LTRs and the Super Ram aren't recommended for a stock 305. Upgrading the heads, cam, and exhaust will increase the flowrate to the point that these aftermarket intake components will also work well on a 305.

I'd stay with the LTR setup. Get larger runners, and a good base... With that cam & head combo, the TPI style intake will make gobs of low end, and you said yourself you're going to work on the suspension a lot to make it hook up, so you'll use all the torque!
