engine noise

my 1991 z28 tpi 350 is making a clicking sound. i replaced the rollers lifers with new lifters and i am getting the same clicking sound from the engine? the oil pump has also been replace. could it be that the heads are bad or some other valve train items. need you asap.

yes, i check for exhuast leaks and there is none. when i said clicling noise i should have said, it seems as if the engine is not getting oil to the lifters.
