Took my car to a dyno...bolt-on 350 TPI

Here is the graph...

Mods:
Superram runners and plenum
Edelbrock base
52mm throttle body
Custom air intake w/K&N
1.6 roller tips
SLP 1 5/8 tri-y headers
Flowmaster Force II 3" catback w/single 3" outlet
24lb SVO injectors
Walbro 255 High pressure fuel pump
Fuel pressure regulator at 48 psi
PCMforless chip
MSD ignition
1800 Dayco stall
and the kicker... 194,000 miles on motor and tranny

I'd like to hear your comments if I'm within what's normal on an L98.

This week I'm adding some AFR 190's, LPE 219, and a Vigilante converter to the original short block. I hope it still holds up. I'll post the dyno numbers for the new setup ASAP.

Good #'s! Look for about another 80-90rwhp from the AFR's and 219 cam. About 60hp of that will be from the heads of course.

Those are great #'s. My car, when it had headers, exhaust, and a hypertech, did 210 to the wheels. But 308 on torque. I can see how that superram helps out....
Why didn't you hit the nitrous on one run?
Also, I can see your pull starts at about 2800 rpms. How do you keep your 700R4 from downshifting? I was wondering how I could do the same. I could only get mine to start at about 3250+ rpms. I would like to see what it does before that.

Those are some good nice numbers. I think you'll be very pleased withe your numbers after the heads and cam.

Good #'s. You keep it from downshifting by disconnecting the TV cable for the dyno run.

For some reason it didn't downshift on the dyno but it will on the street. I don't know what the guy did on the throttle.

I didn't try a nitrous run because of the chip. I thought the timing curve would be too much for it so I'll tune for it after the heads and cam.

Thanks for the comments guys. I hope that 80-90 hp with heads and cam is true. I'd like to catch up to my buddy's '00 SS that dyno'ed at 339hp and 342tq.

I have a question. Why is your power curve all "choppy" looking? Where as mine is very flat?

Is it from a different dyno or computer? Or is that from the motor itself.

You got me. That was my first time to a dyno so I don't have a clue. Anybody else have an answer to that?

i think some dynos kinda find an average to make the line look smoother. either that or your a/f ratio is wack.
