What do you think of this combo?

I'm building a motor for a friend of mine with the following parts:

355ci
10.5:1
ported L98 heads
comp cams XR264HR-12 (.488/.495 - 212/218@.050 - 112 LSA)
24 lb injectors
ported stock TPI intake
52 mm TB
hooker shorty headers w/ Y-pipe
custom PROM chip

How much power do you guys think it will make at the flywheel?

I'm hoping to sqeeze 320 hp / 375 ft. lbs. out of it, just enough to keep the stock LS-1's at bay.

Do you have any flow specs on the heads?

Should be a real fun combo if he has traction on the street.

I'm thinking 300rwhp max if it's all ported decently, actually I think it will be shy of that even...

hey bad91z, whats up!!

Hopefully I can become more familiar with you in time, I just want to say, your car really is nice. I think youve replied to a few threads of mine, but ohwell.

Well anyways hopefully you can help me work out some bugs in the near future!! Im on the verge of swapping in a 383 stroker, with nearly all the same things you have, all except for the cam.

I know this is off the topic, but im curious as to how your car runs, and what times your pulling, thad be awsome if you hit 11'with no power adder.

As far as your firends setup goes, itll be a mid to low 13 second car im guessing with suspesnsion mods. The heads will be the bottleneck most likely, unless your talking about the vette heads. I would suggest some roller rockers also and with that cam. as far as horsepower goes your prolyy looking at around well lets break it down.---

Stock 245 horse....

headers/exhaust----------30 horse
intake/injectors/etc------------15 horse
cam/heads-------------30 horse
compression/bore------10 horse

total=85 flywheel horse

245+85=330 horsepower

with 20 percent drivetrain loss that = 264rwhp

which is definitley ls1 territory. Hell definitley will have more torque then an ls1, so with that setup with suspension he shoud be able to take one!!!

I agree w/ Iroczman. You're not gonna get much more hp than that w/ those heads unless you do some serious port work. Even then they probably won't flow better than a set of stock Vortecs on the intake side. That cam sounds like a good choice with the tpi setup. This setup should still be good for consistent mid-13's.
