Both cams work great with the Superram. The zz-9 will give you more low end grunt and still have good top end pull, the 219 has less low end and a little more top end. I ram the zz-9 cam a Superram with a 2300 stall convertor and it worked great with 1.7 60 ft times and 111 mph trap speeds in my Corvette. I then switched to the 219 cam and lost some bottom end with roughly the same trap speeds. My 60 ft times fell to 1.8 with the same 2300 RPM stall speed. I then switched convertors to a 3000 RPM stall and was rewarded with 1.6 60 ft times. The bottom line is that the 219 cam needs more stall speed to maintain the same bottom end performance as the zz-9 cam. Both cam pulled well on the top end with a slight advantage to the 219 cam.

I'm running the ZZ9 cam in my 383/SuperRam setup. My traps are right there with others at 109-110 MPH on a 90º day. My 60ft was horrible (2.22 was my best). It has TONS of low end and pulls really well up top too. I'll get more accurate ETs once I get the DRs.

buckeyeroc, those are some great times to run with your setup. i am running the zz-9 cam with the stealth ram and stock vette heads and turning 13.5 on street tires with 1.95 60 ft. this is all on the stock torque converter. im just finishing up porting my vette heads and putting in the bigger valves so i hope to get a much better 1/4 mile time with better trap speeds. up next is a stall converter with some bf drag radials. hope to see that mid 12 second mark.

I don't know about everyone else, but I think you should give more specs about the engine before you ask this q.
