Stealth Ram with Stock L98 Cam

Combo:Vortech Heads,mild port,L98 Short Block,3.73 gears,4.3 Stall,Edelbrock TPI Intake System,Stock L98 Cam W/1.6 rockers,will i see much improvement going to a Holley Stealthram

I dont THINK the stealth ram will bolt up to Vortec heads.

It doesnt, as far as I know. You could probably tap yours to fit it, though, if you were set on it. You may also be able to drill holes in the HSR base to fit the Vortec pattern, but I really don't know.

I asked holley, they said certain years of vortecs will work. There are two generations of vortecs, when they first came out, and the newer version. I'm sorry I cant quote which years work and dont. But it is possible.

Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 bolt

if it's the newer 8 intake bolt vortec heads, no. even if you drilled the intake to fit the patern, the ports will not match. the newer vortec heads ports are raised.
