What can I do with this to make it more " matched"
I got the Edlebrock base and runners( both mildy ported ) ..... with tthe ZZ4 cam running 10:1 C/R stock injectors and TB . Stock heads with some bowl work and a 3 angle valve job screw in studs ...roller 1.52 rockers.
I am trying to maximize this setup ........ I am assumeing the heads would be the greatest restriction ....... Is there a set of heads out there that would compliment this setup better .......I am reading that bigger is not always better ......
I "might" have a line on a set of Edlebrock RPM heads ......would this be a gross mismatch for this cam and intake?

They will work with your setup fine but find out what CR u will have with them heads vs your stock ones. U dont want to be too high depending what his cc is.
Basicaly the true ?? should be how much $$ willing to spend? As theres tons of heads out there that will work. hard to make a suggestion with out knowing your budget. Ex. Vortec to AFR's

I want to keep the 10:1 compression ratio ...... I can't afford the " correct" heads ..... just trying to come as close as I can to
optimiseing the setup

Do you have headers on your car. One of the biggest improvements will be to free up the exhaust system if you have not done so already. This will maximize everything else you do ahead of it. Parley

The Performer RPM heads will work fine with that setup if you're getting a deal on them. They'll have either 64cc or 70cc combustion chambers. The 64cc version would be better.
