but when stock low 14's still.
let me tell u, adding bigger rims and all kinda of suspension only helps with alot more power than a stock 350. so i am looking into motor mods now.

Damn, my stock car was slow. With full exhaust and a 2400 stall I ran a 14.36@96 on a 2.0 60ft.

My car went 13.2 @ 104 with the stock L98, ALL the bolt-ons, Longtube headers, full exhaust, 6-speed etc... (basically everything in my sig. EXCEPT the heads, cam, intake, and 5 extra cubes).

I almost bought one of those but instead I got an IROC with an L98. I was giving LT1s a hard time bone stock, so somewhere north of 14.5, really pissed a few of them off too

Mine went 14.9 with a K&N, some wires and plugs. My buddies notchback did consitent 14.8's when it was stock. Plus he has 250,000+ km's on that motor. Both cars have the L98. I did some mild head and intake work on the stock components and went 14.3's. With better traction ( I had none!!), I think I could have gotten some 14.0's or 14.1's on a stock motor. With a good tc and some suspension mods I could have broken into the 13's easily with a stock L98. My friend with the notchback has since added a 2400 stall to his stock car and is getting 14.5's with bad 60's..no traction.

Near stock I ran 14.1 with a Flowmaster muffler, and a few other cheesey bolt ons. I added an SLP converter when I had the trans rebuilt and some other bolt ons and I ran a 13.521 on a 1.76 short time with drag radials.(stock manifolds, rear and untouched heads/TPI) My trap MPH is horrible I was having some top end bog before I stopped throwing $ at it. Hopefully once I get some $ and some time to spend on it I'll dust her off and see what she can do this year.

I wish I would have taken mine to the track. Anyone care to guess what a 123K mile 89 IROC L98 with Edelbrock headers and a Flowmaster catback would have done? Oh yeah... spent 2.77 rear too...

I've learned a lot since I was 16. Now being almost 21, I can say I was pretty stupid then

yes that was with a 5 speed with the auto it would only do 14.7 at 94 so after the 5 speed swap it went down to my 14.3 at 98 mph.what a difference.

I ran my car at 14.9 with absolutely no mods, nothing, exactly how it was when i bought it. Since then ive add SLP CAI, SLP Air Foil, gutted MAF, full tuneup, and just bought complete exhaust system, headers, cat-back, cat, with a cutout, and SFCs.
I dont know if ill take it to the track yet, but when i do go back, i wanna be comfortable i can hit 13s, cuz i dont to be taking it 2 hours away do to a few runs just to see i gained .1 sec or something, you know what i mean

14s stock works for me. rather start with a 14 second base car than a 17 sec turd car.

I doubt it, what was your 60 ft time? maybe with drag radials and a torque converter you could pull a 13.9.
Or for the same $ buy a Nitrous kit and youll be mid 13s easy, possibly low 13s if you can hook it
