TBI to TPI swap dilemma
I'm in the middle of a TBI to TPI swap and ran into a snag and need help. Enclosed are pictures of a connector located near the blower motor. Another picture shows a comparison photo from the other side of this connector. The one on the left is from the TPI harness and the right is the TBI harness. If you look closely, there is a green wire coming from the TBI connector. The TPI connector on the left doesn't. It's out of a 91 Transam. What is this green wire used for and why does the TPI harness connector not have this green wire. Do I need this green wire? Thanks.

I did the swap a while back, the original TBI harness had the green wire, the TPI harness did not have it. I just pluged it in and have had no problems what so ever. When I get a chance I will look it up in the manual. However, I wouldn't worry about it.

I looked up in the manual ltblue- ac pressure red ac-blower power black - ground. I looked everywhere and do indication of the what the green wire is for. If you have a manual look up connector C105 that is the connectior #.

I posted another topic on another cable I can't identify. Check it out and let me know if you can identify it.
