Stock Tpi?

what were the numbers the tpi motors put down? preferably the 86 305 tpi... whant some base numbers .

does anyone no way in the 91 305 Z28 one has 205 hp and the other one 230 hp?

Rated at 190 hp and that's about what they put down too.

i believe one rating was for the 700r4 and the other was for the t-5. and i think that the two ratings were at different rpm's as well.

i herd the 86 has a sh!ty cam. why is the 86 have to be gay? is it because i bought one, this sucks.....

good thing i'm puting a 383 w/ a blower in this summer. :rockon:

but the question still remaines, what did 86 (auto) 305s put to the tires, not what GM rated it at 190???

I dont know if they stated gross or net HP then so its either 190 or below....
Typically/ For what your looking for you can assume....
Automatics typically lose 20% HP through the driveline.
(152HP)
Manuals typically lose 15% HP through the driveline.(161HP)

Well, my stock 1986 put out 158 HP and 235 lb-ft. With my few mods, ###### Cat Back, Ported Plenum, Polished TB, TB Bypass, Ported AirBox, K&N. I now put out 172 HP and 243 lb-ft.
