valve cover question

what is the difference between tall and short valve covers & is there clearance issues in the engine bay? like with the a/c stuff.

one more thing why on this covers there is no hole for the oil cap? how would I go about it? am I suposed to drill one?

sorry if this is a stupid question

Tall valve covers are for aftermarket valve train components such as roller rockers. You may have interference issues with the alt. as well as the AC stuff depending on the year of the car. You pull the PCV valve or vac hose out and put the oil in that hole.
