O2 replacment

I have a 89 Formula 350. How did anyone put a new one it i have it in but i get anywhere to get tighten it. What did you guys do?

There is a special socket with a slot cut in the side for the lead. You can't just butcher an old socket because it will not hold the sensor under torque. I tried that one. An o2 sensor socket is cheap at your local auto parts store, less than ten bucks.
