FP Guage & FPR Q's...

I'm looking to permanantly install a small analog fuel pressure guage into the schrader valve on my passenger side fuel rail.

I would like to get your guys suggestions on which brands are good, don't stand out too much, and which fit the space well. I also need to know exactly what fittings I will need to attach it.

I need the same advice for a fuel pressure regulator. I want one that is as easily accesable as possible and can be ajusted simple by and allen wrench or something similar.

Cost is not a considertion, I simply want the most precise and reliable parts available.

Thanks!

I don't know about the gauge for the schraeder valve, but Holley makes an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator that is easily accessable and adjusted by a hand **** on top.

Well I found these 3:

Which do you guys think is the best?

What about the guage? I can't find a single one either on Summit's site or Jegs...

Ok, I like this exact guage:

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...t=SUM%2D800260

Now how exactly do I mount it right on top of the schrader valve? Exactly what parts do I need? I want to keep it as low down to the fuel rail as possible...

I bought a crane FPR and a holley FP gauge from Thunder racing. They were cheaper than Summit and Jeg's and I said I needed it shipped out quickly. The lady was very helpful and it arrived at my door 3 days later. I'm gonna install it this weekend, I'll let you know how it turns out.

Well I found the regulator:

But where's the guage you said you got? I can't find it on their site anywhere? no Biggie, I think I'll get the guage that I posted with the regulator you suggested. Now I just need to know how to attach the guage to the schrader valve...

Ok, from reading other posts here and the specs for the guage on Summit's website, it looks like I need an adapter which is male -4AN on one side for going into the schrader valve, and then the other end of the adpater needs to be female 1/8NPT. It sounds like it will be a 1 piece fitting and I believe I found a picture of it in a nearby thread.

However it would also depend I'd think on how the back of the guage is setup as far as it's male 1/8NPT connector.

Does this sound right? Does anybody know how the back of that guage may be set up? Also where the heck would I buy an adapter like that? Am I on the right track?

Lastly, how does that Crane AFPR adjust?

Here's the link to the gauge. Don't try and make your own when it's cheap to get one already designed for our vehicle.

I use the Accel guage part #Acc-74745. Comes with all the fittings you need to attach it to your schrader valve.
It's suppose to not be permantly mounted/for test purposes only but I've had it on my car for almost a year and no problems whatsoever.
