305 TPI 1/4 times

Is it possible to get a 305 TPI to run low 12's??? I heard taht someone in here (cant remember his name) had one that does. I was going to get some SLP siamesed runners, different base (didnt know what kind), someone told me to get like the TPIS manifold cuz they said the HSR and TPIS system were to big for the 305. different heads, cam, hooker headers w/duals all the way back, full suspension set up and weighing about 3400 lbs. with driver. what numbers can i expect with these mods and what else can i do? i didnt want to do any NOS or supercharger yet...but the supercharger is in mind for a later day

oh also plus a aluminum drive shaft...3.42 gears w/posi...shift kit and drag radials

Do all the mods that you mentioned and I think it could be done. If it's an automatic, get a torque convertor.

hard to say. tons of factors and variables, but with a 2.73 rear, i wouldn't expect much. 15's MAYBE high 14's but i wouldn't bet on it.

After having a bunch of TPI 305s back in the day i can say a manual conversion is the best source of power!
91Z28 Lb9, 700r4,2600stall, 3.42 posi rear, headers full exhaust,K&Ns w/cut airboxes, pulleys,custom chip would run consistant 14.4s converted to a 5spd same car would run 13.5 at HRP

89TA Lb9, 5spd,3.08,headers,full exhaust, pulleys, custom cold air. would run 15.40 best pass. Converted to L98 and 3.27 9bolt would run 13.7

A stock LB9 can safely run 10psi of boost while a stock L98 could do 8 psi.
When I had my supercharger on my 89 305 tpi, I could have easily done a low 14 sec quarter mile.
