AFR/LPE219/SR driveability?
I couldn't really find anything on the driveability of an AFR, LPE219, SuperRam combo, can anyone chime in? City/highway mileage numbers would be helpful also. Most consider me VERY picky, I hated my 355 with a hotcam, HSR and vig2800, poor street powerband and bad mileage.

The combination works very well on the street. Mine idles steady at 800 RPM will get high 20's for mileage on the highway and low 20's all around, runs in the 12's for the 1/4 ET's.
The low end power is good it will cruise fine at 1400 RPM at 60 MPH.

are you going to run an auto or a 6 speed like bjankuski? numbers could be different with an auto tranny

I was very happy with the streetability of the AFR 190/LPE 219/SR combo. That's actually part of the reason I sold the car, I want something faster/more radical.
I used the ARAP.bin w/ a few changes for the 24# injectors, and idle speed, etc, but never did tune the car. It still ran excellent on the street. 12.1's full weight with drag radials. EXCELLENT street powerband, instant power at any rpm. Do a search under my name and check out the dyno it ran. No idea on mpg #'s, car was going to be my driver but ended up a weekend car. Never measured mpg.

I know I will love the performance of the combo, and it sounds like the driveability is right up my alley. Now all I gotta decide is AFR 195s or TPiS AFRs.

I have the same combo with TF Heads and LS1 Injectors. Like others said, idles smooth, good MPG and instant power. I'm using an S-10 converter with no problems.
