new cam? or stick with the ZZ4?

Well the engine is being pulled again because the crummy Sealed Power rings never seated. Since the engine is out i'm considering putting in a slightly bigger cam. I currently have the ZZ4 cam and it runs really smooth and strong and idles nice. Does anyone have any suggestions on a bigger cam or should i stick with the ZZ4? I will end up doing a chip from pcm-for-less or a local dyno tuned one. I just don't have the time to learn and do it myself. This is my current setup.

L98 bored 0.030"
Keith Black flat top pistons
10:1 compression
ZZ4 cam
stock rebuilt 083 heads
TPI
stock ported base
AS&M runners
ported plenum
stock throttle body
stock tune
built 700-r4 w/2200 stall
3.27 9-bolt
SLP 1 3/4" headers
catco cat
edelbrock cat back
The setup now runs well idle to 5400 rpm. I'd like to stick to a similar rpm range since i'm keeping TPI. Any suggestions? I'd like a cam that isn't going to cost an arm and a leg either. What about the LT4 hot cam. I'm thinking the hot cam is prolly too much for stock heads. Any thoughts?
thanks
John

Just my opinion but with your components I would just stick with the ZZ4 cam. I bought a ZZ4 to install in my 350 TPI rebuild and was going to use it. However it turned out my car allready had a zz9 style cam in it. We did a check on desktop dyno with my setup and there was only a couple of HP difference between the two cams. Same with the torque. Stick with the ZZ4. It's power range is compatible with your TPI setup and it's much more likely a PROM done by someone else will work well out of the box than if you went to the HOT cam. Wouldn't recommend the HOT cam unless you upgrade your heads and go to a deeper rear gear.
