its HOTT!
my plenum you can just about touch and the alternator you can't touch at all!
all i did was put the oil pump drive shaft and a heater core in the truck...
it was fine before even with no oil going through the engine(i forgot that driveshaft i just mentioned) but now its running HOT AS ANAYTHING....i don't have a guage or anything but you can feel it.
i don't get this though, i have the coolant light wire hooked to the switch for the fans, and its not turning on. i know it works because the lights on while starting.
i'm waiting on a fan for the rad. think it could be that?
i remember reading something about hot plenums before i can't find it though.

also for a while white smoke was coming out...it stopped now. it wasn't much at all though. doubt its a blown head gasket because it was smoking before this thing got so hot...i think it was more the little bit of pepsi left in the can i'm useing to keep the wires off the exhaust(the cans between the two)
