Swapping 350 into 305.
I'm gonna be yankin my 305 and droppin in a 350. Would you reccomend a 355 or a 383 stroker? I'm looking to get best bang for the buck. I'm also lookin to either add nitrous or supercharger... probably N20 for now, but probably add a procharger later... So i need a strong forged bottom end. also who would you reccomend for buildin the bottom end? World Products makes a 383 forged stroker kit for like $2k.
The 383 would be nice if you've got the cash for both the block, and a good enough induction for it. Otherwise I'd stick with a 350. I'm not sure what you are asking when it comes to a 355. A 355 is simply a .030 overbore on a 350 block. That's common on a rebuild.

If you have the mooney and the ability to escape the emission police, 383 it! But if money is an issue, 355 with some added goodies for the price of a 383. I have seen 350 roller rebuild kits in "Northern" for really cheap. Add a supercharger for the price as a 383. Makes sense to me.
