Got the Port injected Small Block Chevy 454 Done!
Just put the finishing touches on the SB 454, running a Holley Stealth Ram intake and Sequential Port injection!
More pics at http://www.tpijeep.com/SPI454.htm
I am going to try and put it on the Dyno tomorrow or Friday and see what she will do, shooting for about 600 ft lbs of torque and 500 hp on pump gas.

Thats real nice power level your gonning for. What AFR heads are those? 210's 195's or 220's?

I think you put the fuel rail on backwards, I think the fuel crossover is suppose to be in the front or upside down. Definitely a sweet setup though. Why are you going for a higher RPM intake for a off road car? Don't you want all the power down low like a TPI has?

I went with the Steath because my current 415 falls on its face at 4000 with the stock TPI intake, figured I needed more flow and the Stealth was more cost effective over a Big Tube TPI.

I can see why you went with a HSR. Its not like you NEED the famous tuned port torque with 454 cubes under the hood!

the torque output of TPI with larger base/runners would be tremendous on that 454!!! But an HSR will make great torque as well cuz those 454 inches play a big part in taming the power band of that intake.

Would you mind going through all the non-standard sbc parts you needed to get this together. Also, how much do you think this adds to the dimensions of the longblock as far as height and width are concerned?

Non standard parts... Timing Chain, Oil pan, intake spacers (to make up for the wider spacing of the heads) You need a BBC oil pump shaft and a remote oil filter because the block doesn't have an oil filter provision. and longer pushrods..
The build was fairly simple as far as custom motors go.......

TPIJeep that looks like an incredible engine project! Is it going in your 1985 CJ-7?
Can I ask a few questions? Mind if I ask what camshaft you are using? Did you get your dyno results yet? Are you doing the tuning yourself? Are you using the GM ECU or did you get the Holley Commander setup?

Yes its going in my Jeep, wanted a hell of a lot of low end and the ability to use massive amounts of stupid pedal.
