i know there is a few people on here that would be willing to make me a hard pipe intake set up for my 88 trans am 5.7 TPI. I need a 3" pipe to go from throttle body - then to make the bend heading towards passenger fender. I am putting a MAF at the end of this pipe but i got rid of MAF bracket already. I am relocating MAF more to the left past the radiator for accessabilty purposes. Then i need pipe to go from MAF down to filter. I have cut out where the vapor canistor used to sit and I am putting filter down below there. SO i need pipe to go that far. dont be afraid to leave an extra foot extending down, i can cut it to size i need. Dont worry about couplers. i have them already. need a 3" pipe set up - and if possible to expand pipe at throttle body end to match oval opening of BBK TB 58mm then expand down to bend at perfect 3" circle. Please let me know and price. a guy on here said he could do this but its been weeks and no word from him. he gave me a prixce of 35 dollars plus shipping and i guess he had pipe laying around. To go from the throttle body to a 3" pipe you just need a 4" to 3" silicone hose reducer. You might be able to get the pipe here. They have aluminum, stainless etc. www.burnsstainless.com Also try www.modyourcar.com for the silicone hoses.

 

yes i know about reducers but im just trying to acheaive a clean custom look. I dont have tools to make/bend pipes. thats why im asking if anyone can just make them for me if willing. its only 2 pipes cut to fit. I can cut them to make them perfect length towards filter end

Man, if you're going to be that snappy with people that are just trying to give you a hand, since noone is likely to reply to you on this otherwise, I can just delete the thread and call it a day... your choice.

Have you considered talking to your local exhaust shops about a custom bent piece?...

 

I'll sell you my custom piece for $175 + shipping.
It's 4" all the way, but you could cut it near the lower battery tray, put a reducer and then the MAF.

 

sounds nice but im not spending 175 plus shipping on that pipe. sorry. i can go to pipe shop here and have one built for 125 like i was offered. im all set. thanks anyway
