Throttle Position Sensor not touching throttle body piece, voltage reading 1.9

Alright here is a STUMPER, the TPS is working FINE, but the golden metal piece that touches the arm on the sensor is NOT touching at idle and making me run rich as a SOB, I don't know how to fix it? I am driving my other vehicle while this one is acting funny.

Have you tried to manually return the TPS lever to the "closed throtle" position?

if the TPS is sticking, might think about cleaning with electrical cleaner while moving the the tps lever. if not, just replace it and re-adjust.

Sounds to me like your TPS is anything but "fine"... more like in dire need of replacement.

You wouldn't happen to be using an aftermarket throttle body, would you? By, say, Holley? If so, I've got your fix.
