Pulling the intake manifold, need some help
All right so i have it torn down and ready to pull the intake off. Should i drain any coolant out? I pulled the line off the front and some coolant came out but is there alot in there i am just woorried about it spilling into the engine. Any other suggestions or tips would be much appreciated. thanks in advance
Yes, you should drain the coolant first. If you don't, it will spill out of the water passages into the lifter valley and go down into the oil pan. Pulling the intake is really easy if you have everything off and out of the way already. Go for it.

Just replacing gaskets. I has it half torn apart to polish the runners and plenum and port them so i decided to replace teh intake gaskets too since they were leaking a little oil.
