Need a good cam for an 87 L98!

OK, this is desperate. I need a good cheap cam for my brother's L98. We got ripped on a motor swap by a guy a while back and just got the car back. The cam is way to big that is in it now, car won't idle, etc. I want to swap it out with a cam close to ZZ4 specs. I'm gonna run 24lb injectors and get a good tune for it.

I'm looking for a simple cheap Summit cam or Comp cam. I need to get it by Friday so I can do the swap this weekend. Can anyone help me out?

Oh yeah, it is a flat tappet motor too, not a roller.

Why not get a ZZ4 cam, you can get them on ebay for about 125$

edit: i hate when you post at the same time you could look at 260ah-12 260/260 212/212@ .050 , .444/.444 112.

thats a computer controled cam from comp, go look on there online catalog, compcams.com

Those are roller cams, this is a flat tappet motor.

Gotcha.

That sounds likea great cam. I'm gonna talk to the guy doing the tuning ans see if he thinks that will work for him to tune easily.

YOU DO KNOW THOSE L98'S WILL ACCEPT A FLAT TAPPET OR A ROLLER.

Not all L98 blocks are going to have roller cam provisions.. If it came from an f-body, it should be a roller motor. Otherwise, if it is a pre-'87 corvette L98 or something, it might not have the factory roller cam provisions..

I don't think any LT1 (i assume we're talking about the port injected late-model LT1 that came out in corvettes in 1992) came with anything but a roller cam...
