I only felt a minor improvement in throttle response when I installed mine. I doubt it gives you any hp improvements, and if it does then it's miniscule. At most it just creates a little better airflow by dividing the air into the throttle body and eliminating that "cave" like area between the throttle plates. Maybe....

I wouldn't give $65 for one. Maybe $30 bucks off ebay at the most. I think I bought mine new from TPIS for $40. I didn't really notice a difference. Some members have actually made their own. You might find such decussions in the search somewhere.

Airfoils are going to increase the CFMs by allowing the air to flow smoothly into the plenum. Will you feel the difference? NO. but it does help. MSD ignitions you can't feel the difference but you know what it does and how it help
A lot of little things can make a huge diiference. One thing wont do it by itself.

I totaly agree with 3GTAs1TA1Z28.
There are so many free and cheap mods you can do to a 3rd gen to lead you in the direction of improved over all performance. No one single bolt on is going to plant you back into the back seat like a pro fogger or 3000+ dollar super/turbo charger.
A good rule of thumb on a stock 350 is a .10 improvement in the 1/4 mile per bolt on.
A tenth isnt going to be noticablely felt but it is somthing you can see on a time slip.

I use one just to cover up the center between the bores, and the TB looks better with the airfoil, throttle plates, and bores polished.
The actual benefit is at very high velocities where the air flow tends to become turbulent without the airfoil.

The reason an airfoil can help on a stock TB for an LT1 is that the LT1 has 3" long runners, not 19" long runners.
Unless you have a very rare setup, you're not going to realize anything near 11HP. Save teh money and apply it toward a die grinder that can actually help your intake flow.

by the time you have enough power to make a difference with the airfoil, you should be buying a bigger throttle body anyways, and they already have the airfoil molded in.

btw...91 RS in the paper, hopefully its a good one and i get it
Hate to rain on your parade but if its a 91RS chances are its a TBI not a TPI so an airfoil is something you wouldnt even have to worry about
