ok guys with the proper fuel/timing control and being knock free how much boost or power can a stock bottom end take??

i plan on pulling the heads and cleaning them up and putting new gaskets with studs on going to have ford svo 30lb flow matched, prominator, and msd boost timing master and alot of dyno time at my work

 

I would imagine that a well maintained L98 would be able to handle 8 pounds of boost if properly tuned and not hammered on all the time. I believe most of the kits out there for these motors are 5-6 pounds.
