...BEEEP... Sorry I'm not in right now but I'm busy seducing young Jedi's to the Dark Side and then dealing with these e-mails that get sent to me everytime someone PM's me. Leave a message and I may get back to you if the missus isn't in the mood tonight...BEEP...

Why did you feel the need to post him that he has a PM. Do you think he's retarded? What was the point of sending him a PM? You should have just used this space instead.

Answers like this IS the reason I sent him a PM! Seems like everytime (well, not everytime, just most of the time) I post a question someone has comments that have no regard to my answer.

No, I do not think he's retarded...that is why I sent the PM to HIM.

What did you expect? Someone to come in and kiss your *** because you asked for Vader? You didn't even ask a question so this is like a 'Free Post' thread.

That and the fact that he’s going to be prompted when he comes on TGO that’s he’s got a PM…and he’s probably got an email from TGO informing him of the PM… so yes, posting up a thread telling him he has a PM is a bit redundant to the point of you seemingly acting like he’s a bit daft… which he probably is with regard to a few things… anti-seize comes to mind rather quickly… along with pancakes…

And the proper structure you were looking for is 'Seems like every time I post a question someone has a comment that has nothing to do with regard to my answer.' Which is a little garrulous, but hey, we're all prone to verbosity now and again right?

Tell you what, I’ll call him and tell him his presence is immediately requested on TGO and that he should drop what he’s doing and get right on over here…

I asked for Vader because I thought he may be able to help with my problem. I sent him a PM to possibly avoid situations like this. Notice I said in MY post TO HIM....

Hi Vader. I sent you a PM when you get a chance please. Thanks

Key words ...When you get a chance please.

I didn't ask anyone........ANYONE.....to comment on this post except maybe Vader.....when he got a chance!!!!!!!!

I guess I'm not ampng the elite or a member of anyone's special little click so everytime I post here instead of getting a straight answer, I get smart-assed comments by people like....you know who you are.

I came in here looking for advice, answeres and to maybe help others with what little knowledge of the thirdgen I do know. I'm no automotive idiot, I'll readily admit I don't know everything about everything!!! I came in looking for help and to help others, not to recieve smart-assed comments from people like you.

If the moderators want to kick my *** off this board or ban me for wanting help and receiving comments from smart-asses like you, then I don't need to remain on this board anyway. I have better things to do than to see how inferior I can make someone else feel. By the way, it did't work!!!!!!!!!!

Again, he’s going to be prompted when he comes on TGO that’s he’s got a PM…and he’s probably got an email from TGO informing him of the PM, what was the point of postin a thread informing him he's got a PM other than to point out to everyone else that you are PMing him?

Now then... It's not -YOUR- post. The forum is -PUBLIC-. PMs are enabled for anything -PRIVATE-. You made it PUBLIC. You caould avoid the alleged 'wise-***' answers by simply posting a question without asking in particular for any one person. This was a very sore point with many mods and senior members about three years ago btw, you apparently weren't here for that so it's just to let you know.

And what was 'ampng' supposed to be?

If you sent him a PM, why did you have to announce it? I mean you already sent him a PM... maybe I'm lost somewhere... but wouldn't he get the PM before he even looked on the boards?

Secondly, you might have better luck posting your problem for everyone to see, then maybe you'd get more input and a better answer.

TheMysticWizard I have had 3 PM since I signed on in May 04. I had no idea they were there because I wasn't notified they were there. Maybe I overlooked something. Sorry if I did. That simply is why I let him know.

I didn't post it to the board because of other recent verbal attacks from another member who'll remain unnamed as of now.

By the way, I DID post this problem to the board...twice to be exact with no results.

Sometimes it's better to be ignored..........

Please close this post. End of matter!

Maybe I was wrong in assuming that PMs would be checked before the board... I make it a habbit of clicking 'USER CP' before I do anything else on the message board. Right when I Log In or Open the message board. I was wrong in assuming everyone else did the same.

I am sorry your questions were never answered before. But I think Vader would have said something if he had an answer.

Thanks TheMysticWizard for explaining that. I didn't know to look for such things, primarily since most times there was nothing to find once I got there.

Chris89GTA yeah I agree, this thread IS useless. It was simply to let Vader know that I'd sent him a PM. Nothing more, nothing less. No replies were needed, yet many were given.

Kevin B. It's really nice to know your very first post was a sarcastic one. I hope all the help you need is just as constructive as the advice you give.

You can all have this thread...it served it's purpose, Vader responded anyway and I thank him for that.

Goodbye

You expected more? lol

I'm not a newbie....Just a new name.... But someone with 23 posts is much more of a vet?!?! Give me a break....

MW, you only get in that habit if you get a few PMs on a regular basis. Other times it's a daily thing because your PMs are chock full. It gets tedious, but it's easier to weed out than emails.

Doug my boy, don't hold a grudge against Kev, he likes to have fun, and you never put down the full story.

As for not getting notice, IIRC the defaults are email notification and open PM's in a new screen. Not sure if pop-up notification is changeable, but not getting notice is a decision you made. If you are running a pop-up blocker, blame it, not us, for the lack of pop-up notification upon sign-in.

Now I'll give you a freebie for today and actually try and help you again.

It's either your fuel pump problem or your idle problem.

With regard to your fuel pump, you mentioned it goes on and stays on with the key on engine off. You never mentioned if you tested the relay or not and you never mentioned if it shuts off with no problem with the key off.

With regard to your idle problem, you are running a TPIS chip, call them. Failing that, adjust the IAC correctly, which you have failed to do, but have not told us why. You never said if this problem has been with the motor since it's install into the non-thirdgen car or if it was a recent thing. You have not taken or posted vacuum readings, you have not tested for vacuum leaks (or at least haven't posted it). You also never mentioned if the O2 is a heated one or not. You also should try enabling the field service mode right after you start the car and tell us if the car stays in open loop or if it pops into closed loop. There are a slew of things you haven't given us, what makes you think we could give you anything but funnies back?

Can you hear me now?
