Are you willing to buy the DIY equipment and burn proms??? Because if you want a "lopey" cam your going to need to do alot of tuning. These things don't "auto-tune".

Also, with a TPI you'd be better of getting some heads and going with a LT1 cam or ZZ4 cam. Be a good starting point for you.

ya i plan on getting the prom burning software soon. the car is not going to be driven anytime soon so i have some time to tune it and get to know how to burn proms. i just need to decide what cam to et in order to pu the motor bak together right now. then tune it later.

so would the zz4 cam work for me?

The ZZ4 cam would be great for a L98 TPI engine. Several ppl on this board are using it and have noticed a good increase in Upper RPM's without that much loss on the low end.

Do a search for ZZ4 cam. Should find you some good reading info.

Good Luck!
