Hypertech question
14.755@92.96mph With girlfriend in my 1988 firebird 350
I have already baught the cooling fan switch from hypertech.
If i get the computer chip and the thermostat and with out anyone in my car do you think it would be possible for a 14.4?
I have only dragged once and that was yesterday i am going again this weekend and im going to get the computer chip and thermostat. Do you think hypertech stuff will improve my times?

Not a chance it will improve your times.
I actually slowed down by 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile with the hypercrap chip

I think you would probably be better off spending the money on something else. What other mods have you done to your car? Were in Indiana you live? I'm in southern indiana, jeffersonville.

I live in Albany, It is real close to muncie, I've lived here for 3 years. Before that i lived in cookeville Tn. And i was born in sebring Fl. The only thing done to it is exhaust. Not cat. I wont buy the hypertech. I got a cold air intake instead. I'm saving up for a adjustable fuel pressure regulator next. I have 200$. Ill wait till next week to get that.

From what I've heard you can just bump your timing up a few degrees and that's pretty much all the hypertech does for you.
I have a magazine article somewhere with a Power Resource chip in a 3rd gen F-body taking a few tenths off in the 1/4 mile. Either way eventually going fast will get in your blood and you'll mod the car past the point of using an off the shelf chip.
I vote to save the cash and dump it into something decent, such as SFCs, LCA brackets, or LCAs if you're having problems with traction.
It has been shown there is a little improvement from a AFPR, but if you search on here you can make your own at a fraction of the cost of a new unit from a catalog. You might consider other free likes the TB coolant bypass, even the small things add up eventually. I picked up 2 mph on my G-tech (back to back) testing using a home-made cold air scoop with dryer hose ran to the filter canister. Course that might not be such a good idea since you do have MAF don't want that getting wet.
I also like the other little mods like a $60 wonderbar that improves the overall handling of the car.
