Wow, I was expecting something in the area of 14.8-15.5. If 14 flat is what these 5sp/LB9's with a decent factory rear gear, and full exhuast can do, I might be in stock LT1 stompin' grounds.....

Well, realistically, I think you're still probably gonna be closer to low 15s. I'm just saying what's possible, not what's likely. And by possible, I'm talking about freak cars. The TPI cars where known for having some random cars that were just plain FAST straight off the showroom floor.

A TPI car that's just naturally fast, add a 5 speed and a 3.42 with exhaust....well, like I said, it's "possible" to be low 14s. But don't go pickin' fights with the big boys unless you actually have one of those "fast" cars.

I was thinking I was going to find the closest Supra, or C6 and take 'em out too

Well, here are some times. I am not proud of them, but it's what it ran: 14.4 at 102 MPH with a 2.3 60' time. Mine is an '87 LB9 with the mods in my sig.
Since that run I have installed an alcohol injection system and have some new wheels and drag radials enroute. I hope next time out to hit low 13's.
