SLP runners

I got a set really cheap so Im going to put them on. Are they a direct bolt in or do I need to modify the SLP runners in anyway?
I just want to be able to remove and replace but will the fit correctly? or are some bolt holes not going to line up or something else?

thanks

OK, I did a search and found the answer to my question. sorry..

another question, the verdict on the runners with a 305 is kinda split and more in favor of the 350...but looking at the mods that I have do you think I will benefit with putting the runners on...if not then I might just sell them.

I dont want to go thru the trouble of putting them in if I will see no gain..

thanks

Most people I think would say to stick with a more stock type runner if you do swap them, something like edelbrock's or best yet AS&M, especially for a 305. Personally, I'd swap them on and see. Doing a runner swap seems pretty straight forward.

If, in the event you do swap them and don't like them, let me know... maybe I can take them off your hands

you are definitely going to notice a little less low-end. I did.

You only lose about 10-15 ft/lbs. If you think about it, you will notice a very slight lag, not nearly as much as you lost with that LT1 cam, however, you will lose a little.

SO would you say I go ahead and put them on? The stall should help out what tq I loose if any. Some dont lose at all...

Just put them on. Alone you probably won't deel any difference in the butt dyno... in your head on the other hand...

Like I said before, it's a pretty straight forward job, just give them a try. What do you have to lose, a set of gaskets?

Well I did mine at the same time I installed headers, a catback and a few other things, and I definitely noticed a little less low end in granny driving around town. From light to light. If I get on it the car still won't hookup, so its not like I lost low end all together or something. I am interested to see the dyno results from my stock baseline and now. It wont hurt performance in the way you might be thinking. But I tend to over analyze everything on my car and I feel and hear every little noise and change that happens.

Will
