Enlarging Plenum At Throttlebody
i have a 58mm tb for my stealthram and will need to enlarge the opening on the plenum for the 58mm to work properly. instead of enlarging the holes cant i just cut out the middle part of the plenum and make a large open oval??? will this hurt anything, i know it wont help but i want to make sure it wont hurt

I ran one like that on my car with the stock TB, noticed absolutely no difference in performance or idle quality. I needed a spare while I poslished mine, still have it around somewhere I think, If I come across it, I'll post a pic.

Edit: You are correct the Superram comes with 58mm openings. My misread.

Funny....my 58mm BBK bolted onto my StealthRam and matched up almost perfectly. I had to trim the Fel-Pro TB gasket out to match the bore though.
