New motor:
As of now, the car runs, but will idle at 800 rpms.....but then when you rev it and it comes back down...it'll idle at 1500 rpms. Then sometimes in gear when it is hot....it idles at 4oo rpm and sounds like it wants to die...ideas?

Hows it set up? Using speed density or MAF? MAF pre or post SC? Have you done any tuning yet?

It's got a superam, with MAF. The MAF is before the SC. No real tuning, not sure where to start. IAC. TPS?

Do I have to change my wire harness for that? I origianlly stayed with MAF because it is more forgiving. The car ran well with the blower and the last motor... the only difference is this cam is bigger.

The Accel Superram is known for air leaks if not put together with great care. That would be the first area I would check.

well, how do you check it? I put it together and used a lot of thread sealent and tightened it very well. Also,...my brakes are very stiff and hard to push, and sometimes the calipers stick like they are fozen, even with my foot off the brakes. Also...when the motor got hot before I lost brakes completely,....like brake fade. ideas?

The Accel Superram is a great intake system. There are a number of cars in our local 3rd Gen club running it and with great success. However I can tell you that air leaks when first started were not uncommon. I personally do not have one on my car so only 2nd hand knowledge.

Yes, but i have run one before. and I think I have this one "tight". How would I diagnose a leak?
